Julie Margaret, E&L’s CEO, holds a master’s in Journalism from Columbia University. Her own personal essay landed on the front page of the New York Times, and Amazon Originals later adapted it into a popular TV series. Under several pen names, Julie is a New York Times Best Selling author and wrote several popular feature films and two Emmy and Golden Globe-award-winning TV shows before she left Hollywood for motherhood. T.S. Eliot and Charles Lamb are among her favorite essayists.
